Our online project policy
Semaphore has always had a policy of exploring and utilising the latest software technology in any online project, where appropriate, and as such we have been designing and creating engaging and imaginative websites for the past eight years. Our outlook is always that every online project is a unique endeavor and is specifically coded with the end user in mind. Functionality and interactivity are at the heart of all of our online projects. We are firm believers in the "Three Click Rule" (which means that users starting at your home page should be able to get to the information they require in three mouse clicks.). To us a website should be so much more than an electronic brochure and, with this in mind, a great deal of our creative process is spent developing each site model as a whole, ensuring that when it is finally created each site will be a clear and straight forward interactive work.
Our accessibility policy
All of our online work is created in accordance with the Government's new accessibility laws. The Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) now makes it illegal for a website provider to discriminate against a disabled person by refusing to provide a service that is generally available, providing a service of a lower standard, or failing to comply with a duty to make reasonable adjustments.
